We are trying to set up an email relay to avoid our mass emails being caught in spam filters. Our IT department don't like the idea - they fear that our email server (Microsoft Outlook) could be compromised as a result of setting up this email server. Does anyone have views on how emails could potentially be compromised using Email Relay and potential work arounds.
