email search return nothing if serach string is in greek (non-ascii?)

email search return nothing if serach string is in greek (non-ascii?)

If I enter a string in the search box that contains greek characters, there are no hits in the search, even though I know the string exists in several emails. If I enter a string composed of ascii (english) characters everything is fine. Has anybody eperienced something similar?
