Email Template Merge Question

Are there substitution variables if a merge content isn't available on a record?


For instance if on a email template I have:

Nice working with ${Leads.Company} today.


If the lead has no company and the lead is an individual, would it be possible to just put a substitution variable there, like {you}

So it would read, Nice working with you today.
