Email templates restriction feature

Email templates restriction feature

Hello Zoho Team,

I was thinking about a feature that could make our life easier, as recruiters.

Candidate care is more and more important, giving them a feedback about their application is critical to keep a good Corporate image and that's the least candidates ask for. That's why creating email templates to reply to candidates more easily, more quickly, is a must have.

But, sometimes candidates apply to multiple offers that we have, and if they receive the exact same rejection email for their application many times, it makes this automation/template feature loosing a bit of its interest, because it's becoming too "automated" in candidates' eyes. It may be even worse than not replying at all as candidates have the feeling that's a robot which is reviewing their application (which is not true but it does not matter if it's true or not, the damage is done) and which mailing them to give them a no-go.

What would be absolutely great (to be able to fully trust the automation), is to be able to add an option of "frequency". What I mean by that, is having a feature for each template, where you can select the frequency of sending (can be send to the same candidate once per week/month/year, etc...). If the candidate has already received this template, it would act as the "Opt out" scenario, or even better, automatically send the next template (template 3 has already been sent, then it's template 4 instead, etc...).

I don't think there is already the option to create this "workflow" manually on ZRecruit, if there is a workaround, I would be glad to hear from it.

With this option, what I have in mind, is creating many rejection templates, so each time a candidate has been rejected, the "bad news" does not sound a pre-configured message.

Also, by doing so, I think Zoho Recruit can become one of the only ATS on the market that take Candidate Care to another level ;)

Other Recruit' users, what do you think about this ? Do you have the same feeling as me ?

Regards,

Olivier
