I may be wrong but I understand that the Vendor module can be both about companies or Individuals, supplying my company with goods or services.
If this is so, then I would assume that you should be able to send emails from within that module to contacts or companies, just like with the Contacts or Accounts module...but apparently that is not the case? By default there is no such option in this module? Why so, if I may ask?
How can this be done though? I could of course create a new module for my vendors and call it Suppliers for example, but as long as the existing Vendors module does have a few benefits over a newly created module, this may not make much sense, or does it? Which benefits does the already existing Vendors module have?
I would like to keep my Vendor contacts separate from the Contacts or Accounts module, which makes sense in term of the organization of my CRM, and not having to add vendors under Contacts or Accounts.
