Emails sent via Zoho CRM not visible in contact details

Emails sent via Zoho CRM not visible in contact details

Hello, 
last week we used Zoho CRM in order to send multiple emails to the contacts from particular view. 
We ticked multiple contacts (not more than 10), chose a template, then got the information that these emails were sent, yet, there's no information about it in any of the contacts' accounts. 
Why might it have happened? Does this mean that these emails didn't reach recipients? How should we make it work?
