Embedding Meeting Issue

When I embed a meeting onto a website, is it normal for the user to be taken away from the site upon entering their name/email? While testing in Google Chrome, this was the default behavior and I was unable to stay on the webpage itself to view the meeting... it always opened in a pop-up window after logging in.
