Subject: CRM Standalone Function creation returns INTERNAL_ERROR

Hello Zoho Support,

I am trying to create a Standalone Deluge Function in Zoho CRM for a lead intake REST API.

The CRM account reports that the Standalone category is enabled, but function creation consistently returns:

INTERNAL_ERROR — Problem occurred internally

This happens both when submitting a minimal function with code and when creating the function without code.

Please investigate whether the Developer Hub Functions feature, account permissions, or backend service is preventing Standalone function creation.

The intended use is to receive leads from our website and WhatsApp integration through a REST API.
