Exchange Active Sync "Connection Error" Message on Android

Hello. I an trying to setup email on my new Android phone via Exchange Active Sync, but I keep getting a "connection error" message. I can send and receive emails, but can not view received emails (calendar works fine). I had the same setup on my previous Android phone and it worked flawlessly. I am using IMAP right to view emails, but would prefer Activesync for push and calendar purposes. Any ideas?
