Exempt widget from user filter?

Exempt widget from user filter?

I have a dashboard that reports on an internal "kudos" our staff give to one another.  I want to be able to filter by month and quarter, but I have two widgets that show the total all-time dollar value and the total all-time count of awards given.  Is there a way to exempt these two widgets from the user filter so that if you're filtering just to look at Q3, the "all-time" numbers remain the same?  They can't just be fixed text values, of course, because they will continue to grow over time.
