Firstly we love Zoho invoice - we have been using it for years and it works well with our business for corporate and SME clients alike.
One area seriously lacking is reports. None of the reports under the reports tab really do what we need - we get heads up information from the reports but what is missing is a simple report builder system where we can add/remove columns and adjust criteria as we need to make our own reports. I look forward to something coming in the future.
Now onto my point: because of the lack of reports, we often have to run a full "invoice details" report and then remove many of the system columns and tidy up the data. Two serious issues faced when we export from the "invoice details" report:
1) Date columns are in text format
2) Number columns are in text format
It would be good to have Excel outputs that don't need a large amount of post-processing before we can send them as reports to clients.
