Favourite Email Template - Zoho CRM

Hello, 
If you save a favourite Email Template in CRM, should this apply as the default template when sending an email? 

Example... I have a Quote Email Template. I have selected it as my favourite but it does not populate in the email automatically when I want to send an email. I still have to choose a template (where my favourite is shown at the top of the list with the highlighted star).
