I'm still in my trial period of Zoho Books but I'm very impressed with it and will likely be taking out the subscription. 

There are some things I discovered when I was setting it up for my business, mostly to do with item import / export but probably applicable to all lists. I discovered that importing items wasn't reliable, especially when using the initial quantities and price fields. The items themselves got imported but initial quantities didn't get set. So I set about manually updating those items in Zoho Books and exported the list. I noticed that the data that was exported was more comprehensive (number of fields) than what is able to be imported. I then tried to import the file I had just exported and it failed because there were too many fields in the file.

So, what I would like to request is the following:

1) If I export the list of items to a CSV file I want to be able to import the same file. If there are no changes to a record, updating data in Zoho Books is ignored. 

2) If I make changes to data in the CSV file I have exported I want to be able to import it again and have those changes updated into my items list. 

3) If there are new items in the file I am importing I want them added to the items list.

Rationale for this is that if I have to updated prices or other information in Zoho Books in bulk, it's easier to export, make changes and additions in a spreadsheet and then re-import those changes.

I realise you are busy with lots of requests, but I think rather than adding new fuctionality this would make a great enhancement to what you already have.
