Feature releases and enhancements in Zoho CRM.

Feature releases and enhancements in Zoho CRM.

Hi folks! We've had some brand new feature enhancements in the last month. Let's take a look at some of them.

Sharper Insights on Workflow Usage

You can now receive and view insights on the usage of workflow rules that have the action to send email notifications associated to them. Based on the open rates of the email template that is associated with your workflow rules, the best performing workflow rules are listed for each week.
In the Workflow Usage page, you can:
  • View the list of top performing workflow rules by email open rate for the last 7 days.
  • Track the open rate of each email template through the respective workflow rule, along with the overall open rate.

Advanced time-tracking filters

You can zero down on those records that have been worked on, or not worked on over a certain period of time. For instance, if you have leads that have not been updated for 6 months, there's no need to run a report. The time-tracking filter called Untouched Records gives you this list. You can also apply this filter for:

Touched records- Records that have been updated in the specified period. This includes child records as well.

Record action- Records that have been modified in the specified period. This only brings up records if any field in the record has been edited, and does not include changes made to the related child records.

Related Records Action- Gives you records, only when their related child records have been updated.

Email parser

You can automate the process of adding records by extracting information from incoming leads, contacts and accounts. For instance, you run a real estate business and have put your property details on a real estate portal. The potential buyers submit their details through the portal's website, and the user details are sent to you in an email. You don't have to manually enter the details into the CRM. An email parser can retrieve the information from the email and add it as a record under any module in your CRM account.

Multi-ownership of a record

When there's a big deal in the pipeline, you may need two sales reps to handle it. You may also require the help of the Sales Manager or Regional Sales Head in taking key decisions regarding the deal. Adding co-owners to a record makes more people responsible for the conversion of that record. Read about it in greater detail here.
