I'm a new PREMIUM user, because I wanted to make use of the reminder. 

I noticed that I must set the reminder for each indivual step of my tasklist template. 

SUGGESTION: use the "select all" feature that opens whenever a checkbox is selected and add a batch Reminder & Recurrence option. (as per example image attached).

I understand that the R & R function can only work when a due date is configured. So, in the case of a "select all" and attempted batch R & R, you could have a message that says, "Only Tasks with dates will be modified" and an OK button. 

This will be a tremendous timesaver for those of us who use task list template features.
