Feature: Time Zone Support for frequent travelers
I have reviewed the article:
and it doesn't seem to address my issue so I think this is a feature request.
Example: I accepted a meeting while working in the PDT (-7:00) time zone. At that time it showed on my calendar as 7:30am meeting. I landed in the CDT (-5:00) time zone and my MacBook automatically adjusted for the new time zone but the calendar continued to assume the time it was getting from the OS was PDT and thus my entire calendar was shifted by 2 hours.
Normally, calendaring applications store all incoming requests in UTC (0:00) time and then are able to shift the presentation of the information in the UI based on the local time zone by doing the addition/subtraction needed based on what the OS sends back to the application.
#1 - Zoho Mail should support the use case above as it is fundamental to how group calendars work.
#2 - Zoho Mail should strongly consider adding a feature that when Zoho Mail detects that the OS time zone has changed it prompts the user if they would like to update their calendar to reflect the new, local time zone.
