Field Data disappeared and we can't figure out why.

One of our users entered data in a field.  It is a drop-down field with several options.  On December 18th, the user updated the fields.  The timeline only shows that she "Updated Some Fields".  She ran a report with the data contained in these fields and downloaded it (proving that the data was in Zoho).  

Yesterday, the same Accounts were checked and the data in those fields had disappeared.  There is no activity in the timeline that would indicate that the data was changed or deleted. 

Does anyone know how this would happen?  Also, what does "Updated Some Fields" mean??  Why on some edits does it show exactly what data was changed and on others it just states this?  


First Image shows the edits that were done today.  Notice that it says that one edit occurred at 8:11pm today.  It is currently 12:04 pm.  That is not possible.
