We have now introduced the 'File Encryption' option within the Zoho Desk app as part of the HIPAA Compliance. This option allows the user to encrypt the attachments within the Desk mobile app, which acts as an additional layer of security.
Once encryption is enabled, attachments will be automatically encrypted upon download. This ensures that all files, including sensitive documents, are securely stored and protected. Please follow the steps mentioned below to enable 'File encryption':
Open the Zoho Desk app.
Go on to the Settings module.
Scroll down to select 'Privacy & Security'.
Enable the 'File Encryption' option.
We have also supported Admin Forced encryption, which automatically encrypts the attachments for all users within an organization. However, we don't show the option in the mobile app. If you would like to enable the 'Admin Forced Encryption' for your organization, please drop an email to desk@zohomobile.com and we'll have it enabled for your organization.
