Files not saving

With the new upgrade to 3.2, I cannot save files.

I try it two ways:
1. upload a file. it uploads with no errors, but it never appears on my list of files

2. create a new document. It does the dropdown with the gui editor. I can edit a file and click save but the file never appears in my list of files.

I looked through the log files but I cannot see any errors.
