Filter/block SPAM before inbox


Is there a way to have items that are identified as SPAM deleted before they hit my mailbox? I get a ton of SPAM since I moved to zoho which usually gets filtered pretty well to my SPAM folder, but I use my blackberry to check mail throughout the day without logging into zoho and all those messages get downloaded to my blackberry before I can filter them out.
