Prior to zoho's recent lookup filter update we were able to filter a lookup field based on another lookup fields selection. Their help hasn't been helpful, so starting to go outside the box to see if anyone has any solutions that still works even if it requires a new function.
Scenario is we have 3 modules being used(Calls, Companies, and Contacts)
When we log a call we have 2 lookup fields in the Calls module layout. The first is to select the company and then the next is to select the contact.
Previously after a company was selected, the contact lookup field filtered to contacts only related to that company. Now it's displaying all contacts and requires manual filtering. Any tips?
Odd Scenario: It appears to work when it's a new call entry, but not editing existing calls. Reason that matters is calls are initially created in a scheduled state, once completed notes are updated and sent to selected contact. Contact isn't known ahead of time
