Hi

We have Account Owners and Account Co-Owners (also same for Lead and Contacts) 

As a manager, I want to quickly look at a particular salepersons accounts that is a Owner OR Co-Owner

It seems the filters in each of the modules is set to AND so when I select John Smith as Account Owner and John Smith as Account Co-Owner is returns no records even though he owns accounts and also Co-Owns some accounts.

There is no way of getting past this is there.  I think an option of And/Or should be available when using the filters
