Hello Everyone,
We are excited to announce that User Journeys is now live in Zoho PageSense.
Here is what that means for you.
Funnels are great for one thing. They tell you how the path you designed is performing. Homepage to product to cart to checkout, step by step, drop-off by drop-off. But visitors rarely move in the tidy lines we map for them. They loop back. They wander off. They take detours you never accounted for and arrive at conversion from directions you didn't know existed. A funnel only ever shows you the route you drew. Everything happening outside it stays invisible.
This is exactly why we built user journeys
A funnel is something you define. You pick the steps, in order, and it tells you how many people make it from one to the next. It answers a question you already have. User Journeys works the other way around. You don't define anything up front. It shows you the routes visitors actually took, including the ones you'd never have thought to build a funnel for. Funnels measure the path you expect. User Journeys show you the paths that are really happening.
That surfaces things a funnel won't, like:
The steps visitors add before converting, and whether those steps help or slow them down.
Where people hesitate instead of moving on.
Exit points you weren't expecting, and what happened right before them.
Paths you never designed that convert better than the one you did.
Once you spot a journey worth a closer look, you can jump straight to the session recordings to watch it play out, or open a heatmap on the page where people keep turning back.
Learn how to set it up over here.
Stop mapping the journey you assume. See the one that's real.
