Finding Inactive Deals Made Easy
When you edit the fields in a record, the
Modified Time is captured, but what happens when you send an email, add a note, close a task or associate events, tasks or calls! These changes are recorded in the
Last Update field under Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Potentials modules and this information is used in
Pulse.

We can do a lot more using the Last Update field information, as it is now available under the criteria section (as the Last Activity Time field) in Custom List Views and Reports.
How is it useful?
Take for example, you need to create a list of potentials without activities for the past two weeks. Or say, you want to generate a report of all the leads without any activity for the past one month, then the Last Activity Time is very useful in specifying the criteria to filter these records.

I am trying to identify out of the 1,000-1,200 accounts that "I" own in Zoho, which accounts I have not contacted within the past 60 days.
