For example in my contacts, I have a first name and last name field.  For a while the fields were separate.  Today now they are tied together as Contact name. Although in my layout and when I go to enter info they are separate.   I want them to be separate in all views!!

My other issue is with the main views.  for instance when I click contacts that main view, I want just the last name but it wont allow me to do that.  It automatically makes it Contact name and includes the full name first and last.
