First name mandatory for CRM Users

Hello everyone,

We are planning to make the first name mandatory for all the CRM users. This will be effective from November 26th, 2020.

(Note, that this applies only to the CRM users and not the leads or contacts that are added to the CRM account.)

Currently, in Zoho Accounts the first name is mandatory while the last name is not. So, based on the single-sign on when the user's details are synced with their CRM account the first name is repeated in the last name as well, if both first and last name fields are not filled, resulting in duplication; ex., John John.

To avoid this discrepancy, we are planning to follow the mandatory field preference in sync with Zoho Accounts. Hence, only for the CRM users the last name field will be non-mandatory.

For new users: First name will be mandatory and the last name is non mandatory

For existing users: If the first name is blank, we will show an alert to enter the name when Admins try to modify user details.
