Right now, spell check in Notebook is worse than useless. The problem is that it doesn't do spell check only, it also flags what it considers poor grammar and, most idiotically, EVERY SINGLE contraction!

This is obviously ridiculous and means that 90% of what it flags are NOT spelling errors! So in order to have it check spelling while I type, the screen is plastered with squiggly colored lines about issues I don't want it to check.

At a bare minimum, users should be able to specify spell check ONLY. In the meantime, I have it turned off because it's so impossibly disruptive and unproductive.
