Floating Home Tab next to "Recent Items"

Floating Home Tab next to "Recent Items"

I usually find myself scrolling up to get to the home tab once I am done working on a particular contact/activity.  Would it make sense to have a couple of floating tabs next to "Recent Items" in the new look that are of other items frequently used, for me it would be the home page but perhaps this can be customized by each individual?
