I have only just converted to Notebooks and am delighted by what I find. It is professional yet fun, efficient but not complicated. There's just one thing I would like to see added to the software, and that is an ability to assign notebooks to folders, so thereby there is not such a large screen on opening--involving scrolling through the notebooks--but with folder headings on the left and the notebooks then inside each folder (thus, one for research, one for family, one for travel, etc . . . . ). I saw an earlier post of two years ago which was answered and the poster was told that such a feature was planned, but I cannot find it, if it exists. Organising notes into groups is not the same thing, nor as visually efficient.
