I have a simple subscription form on my home page (embedded into the Wordpress page using XYZ HTML Snippets). It works perfectly when I test it but I keep getting spam submissions. These submissions do not seem to be landing in my CRM but I am getting the email notifications - tons of them! I guess I could turn off the notifications to my email but if bots are getting through to my form that seems like it should be fixed somewhere.
When I test the live form I cannot submit without the mandatory field. When I try, I get the error and I do not get any email notification. When I fill in the required field, I get a notification and it creates a new record. Awesome!
But every day I am getting a ton of notifications that are obviously spam and have somehow bypassed the required field. These do not show up as new records in the CRM, just as notifications in my email.
The form seems to work perfectly for human beings so I am hesitant to mess with it. But how can I only get legit notifications?
