Formatting loss when exporting

I've been using Zoho Docs as my primary word processor for a few months and I've been very pleased with the result except for one small but irritating thing. Whenever I export my documents as .doc or .docx file I lose important formatting like centering of text, tab strokes, paragraph borders, etc. 
I'm a writer producing professional documents so it's important that they look the way I intend when I deliver to clients. I don't want to go back to MS Word   Help?
