Hi,

I am using a formula field to calculate Asset Age in my application. There is also a choice to use a normal numeric field as Age and then calculate it on user input of Purchase Date.  

The age of the Asset is correctly calculated when the form is entered based on the difference between Today and Purchase Date of the asset. Now my question is -

1. Whether the age will be calculated daily when the date progresses and updated in the database 

OR

2. Whenever I run a report and generate Asset List, the age will be dynamically calculated based on when the report is run. 

I want the Asset Age to be dynamically calculated and stored in database. If this does not happen then my future calculations based on the asset age would go wrong.

Please clarify.
