Formula Field

Hei Guys,

We are trying to sum up the results of few fields in Zoho, so they add up to one integer set up as formula field.

We have two questions:

1) How is it possible for the formula to be working for older Accounts? It seems like just for new ones the result is compiled
2) How does the update field work?
