I have created a table, called Transactions. It looks like this:
Date Item Units Price Total
7/1 A 10.0 5.00 50.00
8/1 B 12.0 10.00 120.00
14/1 A 15.0 7.50 112.50
15/1 B 20.0 8.00 160.00
21/1 A 15.0 10.00 150.00
Now I want to create a summary view that shows what items were bought, how many, and the AVERAGE price. I.e.: if add up the units and totals for item A we get 40 units and 312.50; and if we divide by the total by the units then the average price is 7.8125.
So how do I get a summary that looks like this:
tem Units Total Avg-Price
A 40 312.50 7.8125
B 32 280.00 8.75
