Forwarding mail problems

hello,
I'm trying to find the easiest solution to my forwarding problem.  
I was using user accounts ( paypal@mydomain.com) set to forward the emails to my gmail ( mydomain@gmail.com). They were forwarding fine, and deleting fine off Zoho so my Zoho account wasn't being flooded with all the purchase notifications.  

Then I started looking at upgrading to a paid account as I need multiple domains.  However, I have to pay for every user, even when the user is just an email address for my paypal emails. 

So now i've tried changing the paypal@mydomain.com user accounts into group accounts. Group accounts can't be forwarded for some reason.  So now all of the actual users are being flooded with paypal emails.  I've managed to setup my account to forward the emails to gmail, but they aren't deleting so I have a copy of the email, the other users have a copy of the email, and gmail has a copy of the email.  I only want gmail to recieve it.  

How can i make this work?  Why is there not a simple redirect email address option?  If I can't simply forward an email to another address, then upgrading my account to paid doesn't seem worth it.
