Future emailing functions for service of cars

Hi, I am making a preventive maintenance schedule for our motorpool. Is there a way that I can make zoho creator send me an email when my car is due for repairs. I would like to do this via inputting a future date (i.e. if today is jan 1, i will input June 1 as the next schedule for repairs), and then creator would have a function to send me a notification email on June 1.

I have been trying to do this in forms (Action on update, action on new), but it seems the action is only on the forms and not on the views.
