Future request for Zoho Contacts - multiple file import. And some commnets from me.
Please improve importing of contact by possibility of import multiple files at once.
Today I tried to copy contacts from MS Outlook 2003 to zoho.
First I could not find any synchronization software that can sync Outlook and Zoho, then I tried to export data as CSV but outlook exports only some basic data. Next I tried to save contact as vCard *.vcf file. This is best solution for me because it's handle all data. So I save all 200 contacts one by one because outlook can not export it all at once.
And finally i imported it to Zoho also one by one.
Please make some improvement that we can upload many contacts at once.
Other thing is Names of contacts, I can not find configuration to change it for displaying Name and Last name. Now I have on the list Anna, Anna, Anna and who is who? Ok I see email and I can click on contact but would be simpler to have Anna Abc, Anna Def, Anna, Ghi?
And there is strange behavior. I adding the contacts, see it in Address book but when I will go to Mail > Compose and there open Address Book it's empty did not contains new items.
And my comments.
It's strange that today when we have everywhere internet and multiple devices that can hold contacts like mobile phones, computers, PDA, Blackberry and other it's very hard to have the same content (and also Callendar) everywhere.
I think that this is great opportunity for Zoho to provide solutions that can make life easier with keeping synchronized Contacts and Callendar with many applications.
