Get an IE alert with many records selected for a form object

The above pops up in Internet Explorer with a custom action bringing up a form, if more than about 50 records are selected. Anyone know how to turn it off or get around it? It scares users.

Works fine for me in Firefox, though a user reports similar there as well (I have not been able to replicate it).
