Welcome to Portal
When I send a message from Android phone (K-9) imap client or when I send a message from Windows using Thunderbird, two identical copies of my outbound message are saved to Sent folder.
When I send a message from zoho web mail page, I believe there is no duplicate of my outbound messages.
Have I misconfigured something? What do I need to do to fix it?
thanks!
Linda
You're not alone! Seemingly a longstanding issue also on another thread here.
I have the same problem when using Android phone and Outlook 365 client. The only option in my client settings is to NOT save sent emails. I do not see an option to not save sent emails on the server as was mentioned here.
I had this issue too and just found a solution that worked for myself while using Office 365 for my email.
In Zoho, go to Settings -> Channels, Email -> Uncheck the Store sent messages on the server.
I still get a single copy in my sent items, just no duplicate.
If anyone is having this issue in Outlook 2016, this solved it for me:
File > Account Settings > Account Settings > double click your Zoho mail account > under "Mail settings" check the box beside "Don't save copy of sent items"

They seem to be enjoying making money from us using up our storage and having to buy more storage than for them to fix it. The issue still remains today - sometimes even in triplicate in the sent items. Very poor service zoho - come on, your better than this.
To be clear I would like it to save a single sent email - just not 2 or 3 of the same email!
Dear Zoho Support,
I’m investigating Zoho Mail and have concerns about the duplication of sent items.
My understanding is that sent emails should be stored on the server and sync seamlessly across all devices (Outlook, iOS Mail, desktop, mobile, etc.). This ensures:
Could you clarify whether this issue is being addressed or if there’s a recommended solution?

Zoho web client shouldnt touch emails which were not sent through web client. Now this works like server side setting but settings is located in web client settings not in control panel of server. So after disabling this will still be working incorrectly (I want copy if sent throught web client)
