It would be great to have access to comments related to a record through API, workflows and deluge.
This could open up a lot more possibilities on how the comments section in Zoho Creator is being used.
One use case I would consider is creating workflow rules based on the last comment left, or sending information (such as data updates from another record) through a comment related to a specific record.
Having the whole "conversational" set up (signals, comments, reply function, comments deletion) already in place + the new detail page (canvas) - this would make us save so much development time and allow us to create real collaborations driven machines!
