We have a few subforms to calculate detailed offers for customers of car dealerships. These subforms are used in different modules and we need to create snapshots of them in different cases for documentation reasons.
For example, an approved offer should be saved and stored in a custom „discounts“ module.
In order to
- not create these subforms 6 times
- not have to edit these subforms in 6 different places in case of a change
we would like to have global subforms in the future.
This would enhance the scalability and maintainability of Zoho CRM for us significantly.
We are currently evaluating this on our end, and it may take some time. To further validate, we would like to gather some additional information from you.
Could you please confirm whether the field types remain the same or if they change over time? Additionally, we would appreciate it if you could clarify whether the subform field values are updated solely by the admin or if all users in the organization have access to modify them.
