gmail is a time machine in zoho

I can't seem to make the zoho email client play right with gmail.

I want it to pull in email only from this point forward. But it's pulling in everything starting back in 2008. I have set the pop settings to "Enable for Messages that arrive from "07/26/2011" Onwards" - and it STILL pulls in from 2008.

How do I make zoho mail play nice with gmail?
