Hello everyone!
What does this mean for a Zoho Social user?
If you've already added Google+ Profiles and Pages to your Brands on Zoho Social, the Google+ functionality on these Brands will cease to function after
28 February, 2019. Also note that it will no longer be possible for you to add new Google+ Profiles and Pages to your Brands on Zoho Social after
5 February, 2019.
Here's the good news—now that
Google+ is gone forever, find out how you can
manage your Google My Business listing with Zoho Social to generate engagement and a great online presence. Of course, you can expect support for new social channels, coming soon to Zoho Social. We'll keep you posted about that.
So, here are a few things we've changed under the hood now that we'll no longer support Google+ Profiles and Pages.
Take a look:
1) You will no longer be able to connect your Google+ Page and Profile while setting up a new Brand on Zoho Social.
2) Your Google+ Page and Profile will no longer be displayed in Zoho Social Settings.
3) Publishing and Scheduling features for Google+ Page and Profile will no longer be available. This includes the regular new post composer, the Bulk Scheduler, and zShare, as well as the Publishing Calendar.
4) You will no longer be able to view posts that are Published, Promoted, Scheduled, or Unpublished on your Google+ Page and Profile.
5) The option to monitor Keywords and Users for Google+ Pages will be removed.
6) You will no longer be able to view your Connections on Google+. Moreover, if you have a Zoho CRM account integrated with Zoho Social, you will not be able to view your Leads and Contacts generated from Google+.
7) Stats and Analytics will no longer be displayed for your Google+ Page. Additionally, you will not be able to create Custom Reports for your Google+ Page.
8) Brand Health stats will no longer show up for your Google+ Page.
9) Live Stream notifications will no longer be displayed for Google+ pages on Zoho Social.
