Google Apps POP Account Configuration

Gmail has recently updated in its help page, http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=13291, regarding the POP configuration of GMail account in other POP clients using recent mode. It says,

Recent mode fetches the last 30 days of mail, regardless of any other factors. If you don't check Leave messages on server, your messages will be moved to 'Trash' after download.

Hence if you have the recent mode in your POP settings, i.e, recent: tag in your username and selected the option 'Delete Messages from Server when I receive here', the message will be moved to Trash in Gmail.

You may choose one of the following workarounds based on your requirements.

If you do not use any POP clients other than Zoho Mail, you can remove 'recent:' option in user name in Zoho POP Settings.
If you are using multiple POP clients, you can have 'recent:' in user name and select the option 'Leave a copy of the message in the Server'
