Google drive for huge files...just a link

Hi....I use Google Apps / Google drive to store customer files. Since many of these files are huge (3GB and above per client), is there a way to just attach a link to the documents from inside the CRM? It seems that now, the "Google Docs" integration is at "attach" a file to the CRM...which means that another copy is now created......but Zoho storage is too much money for the type of storage we do, and we often share those files out under our Google account...having another out of date copy in Zoho is not good for anyone...why not just "attach" a link in Zoho CRM to the Google drive file?
