Handling Multiple Accounts with one Potential
This is all i do, so in essence, if Zoho cant handle it its a deal
breaker for me.
Essentially this is my process
Identify Projects to supply our services to (Window installation) via
incoming emails, Tender Websites etc.
Do the quote to supply and install for said Project
Email Several versions of the same quote to Various Head Contractors
that are all Tendering on the project
I thought i could add several Potentials (create one, clone, change
account and contact, repeat for each Account)
This works fine and allows me to add emails etc to each one which in
turn is logged under each account etc as it should, but really inflates
the potential revenue and other value related reports / figures.
Ive only been using this today so I'm pretty green, but have
experience in several other CRM's in my search for an easy way to
track and provide quality reports (not to mention actually manage my own
Leads, Quotes etc) to my sales manager and Director.
I REALLY like the Outlook plugin, its awesome.
The easiest way i can see this possibly working is if it can filter out
duplicate potentials in the reporting area, from a cursory look and
test, it seems to not be able to accomplish this with filters /
criteria, there is no "Ignore Duplicates" option.
