Hi there. This app looks really promising.
This note is a bit long, so please bear with me.
Here is how we're trying to use it --
We are a headhunting firm that recruits for hedge funds. So we have multiple clients with multiple openings. I think the recruiting module (I still have to spend more time on it) will meet our needs with regards to managing the candidate "movement" as their status changes from new/qualified/presented/interview/.../offer/etc.
My concern is that we may not be able to manage our clients and client contacts -- I am thinking we could possibly use the Department tab for creating Clients. But we also need to create client contacts (hiring managers, clients own internal recruiting/hr team members, etc.) -- I tried creating them via Organization-->Employee but it requires the employee to "activate" oneself to be visible. In our business scenario, we would simply add a contact to a client. They would never have to approve/activate. Can this be turned off? I played around with the tool but didn't figure out how to do that.
Also, given the nature of our business, managing candidates is a lot more involving than managing clients. With the recruiting module being a very good fit for managing candidates, I would love to figure out a way to manage clients as well. Now I know we could manage clients very efficiently in Zoho CRM but then we'd have to tweak too many things (I would think) to manage candidates. I'm thinking it might be easier to tweak Zoho People to manage clients rather than trying to tweak Zoho CRM to manage candidates. Would you agree?
Does that make sense? I hope I'm being clear. Would be happy to jump on a call/web-conference if need be.
