Heads Up! Redundant information to be removed from email reports

This post is to inform you in advance about an update on email reports, which will be made effective in about a week's time from today.

The Email Modified By and Email Modified Time columns will no longer be available for Email Reports as emails that have already been sent cannot be modified. 


When this update has been made, you will stop seeing  Email Modified By and  Email Modified Time in the Email reports. Also, across email reports, be it during creation of new reports, or columns in existing reports,
  • Email Created Time will be renamed as "Email Sent On".
  • Email Created By will be renamed as "Email Sent By".


Following are the changes you will see as a result of this update:
  • When you create a new report, you will stop seeing Email Modified By and Email Modified Time in the list of "Available Columns" as well as the Filter options.
  • These columns will also be removed from existing reports in which they have been used. 
Note:
If Email Modified By and Email Modified Time turn out to be the only columns with which you have already created a report, these columns will be replaced with  Email Sent By and Email Sent On respectively, as the values are the same.

The important thing to note here is that there is no “data loss” for you because of the removal of these columns. It’s as simple as removing a word that has been repeated twice, from a paragraph. You can continue to create Email reports without any hassles.
