Help in Using Zoho Projects for Personnel Planning of Employees

Hi, I am a project manager that is new to Zoho Projects. We have been using their CRM for a year but are planning to add the whole system of integration with Projects, Zoho Desk, RingCentral phone integration, Zoho Docs for all of our employees (and move away from SharePoint), and possible Zoho Mail (away from Office365 Exchange).  

Question, is anyone using Zoho Projects for keeping track of employees schedules, task, and projects? We have several employees who work on a variety of projects. Each has open issues.  I need to keep better track of when we scheduled them to be at customer locations, vacation schedules, and what they are assigned to while they are at the home office.   Right now we rely upon a SharePoint Shared Calendar which syncs to our Outlook mail client. 

Right now in Projects I only have a few projects in which I added a customer.  This is working well compared to the complexity of Microsoft Project Server.
