I want to set up a rule so that when the Close Date of a Potential reaches the Current date the Salesperson handling the opportunity/potential gets a task reminder and an e-mail directing them to update infrormation in the opportunity/potential record.
For Example:
Potential Closing Date = 4/6/09
Today's Date = 4/6/09
Workflow triggers an e-mail alert to the salesperson and places a task on their task list.
How do I do this?
I can get as far as setting up a rule that works if you edit that specific record on the closing date. But what if no one opens and edits the record on that date?
